Is a grant funded agency serving both youth and their families in the communities of Farmington, Milton, Middleton, New Durham, Strafford, Barrington, Somersworth, Rochester, and Rollinsford. Services provided include the following: Individual/Group and Family Therapy Sessions (CHANCES is an insurance provider); Substance Abuse Services for Teens including Evaluations and Counseling; Psycho-Educational Groups e.g. Conflict Resolution/Anger Management; Challenge Course; Tobacco Education/Cessation; boys and Girls Groups; and Fire Setter Intervention.

Mission: To create and support projects and initiatives that promote positive, healthy, safe, and drug-free lifestyles for youth and families. To ensure that the Coalition is a facilitating entity that fosters community collaboration in prevention planning, action, and evaluation.

The Coalition is committed to linking community members to resources, which is why we rely on our many community partners. Our partners include those in health related fields, such as Southeastern NH Services, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, and Avis Goodwin Community Center; educators and school officials; parents, students, public officials, such as City Council members, Dover Police and Dover Fire; and various other local organizations, businesses, and non-profit entities, such as the HUB, Southern Strafford Community Health Coalition, and the Chamber of Commerce.

The Coalition values participation reflective of the entire community and looks to function in the role of a facilitating entity. Plans that support our community wide drug prevention plan are always being developed together with our community partners. Dover initiatives often serve as a blueprint for other communities as well.

Programs include drug and alcohol counseling on a 'drop in" and appointment basis, employment referral/assistance, general information and referral for youth/parents. Court diversion program, first time offenders program, drug and alcohol counseling in high school, adolescent and community services.
